Porsche 968 Turbo S – #890061

Farbenwechsel

Chassis-Nummer: WP0ZZZ96ZRS890061
Auktion: RM Sotheby’s, Miami 2025, Schätzpreis 550’000 bis 750’000 Dollar, mit diesen Informationen: «Completed in February 1994, this Porsche 968 Turbo S is finished in stunning Midnight Blue Metallic over a partial leather interior. It was equipped from the factory with an anti-theft package, a stronger battery, Blaupunkt Bremen radio, speakers with an antenna, front airbags, and air conditioning. Along with this full suite of convenience options, the car was fitted with Porsche’s standard seats, which provide an increased level of comfort compared to the hard-shell, fixed-back sport bucket seats that most 968 Turbo S examples are understood to have received. First registered to a company in Munich, this 968 Turbo S was later sold by the Porsche Motorsports department to a German individual on 24 October 1995. In April 2000, the car was acquired by its third owner and imported into the United Kingdom. It would subsequently return to Germany before eventually entering the esteemed LAPIS Collection of noted Porsche enthusiast Todd Blue, having been sourced and prepared for Mr. Blue by 968 Turbo S expert Michael Kelter. A plethora of documentation accompanies the car and includes past registrations, British Ministry of Transportation test paperwork, owner’s manuals, correspondence between a past owner and Porsche, and invoices dating back to 1999. The most recent invoice from 2018 details work carried out on several of the car’s electronic components. As indicated by stamps within the accompanying service booklet, the car has benefited from continual service at Porsche dealerships over the past several decades.»
