Ford Ranger with a 5.0 L V8

Godzilla Raceworks (GRW) typically works on Datsun 240Z, 260Z, and 280Z cars. But occasionally they will take on different projects. Take for example this third-generation Ford Ranger GRM was tasked with upgrading the powertrain. In the engine bay they swapped a 5.0 L V8 from a Ford Explorer. Exhaust is sent through Torque Monster V8 swap headers and a custom 2.5-inch dual-to-single exhaust fabricated by GRW. The V8 is paired with an AOD four-speed automatic transmission and Ford Explorer limited-slip differential. GRW did not stop at the powertrain. On the suspension they added 2001 Ranger spindles and disc brakes in front and Ford Explorer disc brakes on the rear.
