What happens when someone dreams of combining supercharged Mopar muscle with a fourth-generation Monte Carlo? Well they turn to Schwartz Performance in Harvard, Illinois to turn that dream into a reality.

Schwartz Performance started with a disabling a 1986 Monte Carlo. Under the body they installed their G-Machine G-body chassis. The bolt-in frame features Ridetech single-adjustable coilovers, splined sway bars, and Flaming River power steering rack. On each corner is a Baer six-piston caliper with 14-inch rotors. Those are covered by Bonspeed wheels (20×10, 22×13) with Pirelli P Zero L Lamborghini XL 255/30ZR tires in front and Pirelli P Zero XL 335/25ZR tires in rear.

Under the hood you find a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 producing 829 hp and 775 lb-ft to the wheels. MotorTrend reports the motor features ported heads, ported supercharger, custom camshaft, custom pulleys, and custom exhaust manifolds. The motor runs on a 2018 Charger wiring harness and Mopar ECU. The motor runs on E85 fuel fed by 1200 cc injectors from two 525 lph pumps and custom stainless steel tank.

The supercharged motor is backed by a ZF 8HP90 eight-speed automatic transmission running on a Sound German Automotive PCS controller. A custom steel driveshaft sends power to a 9-inch rear end with a TrueTrac limited-slip differential, 3.70 ratio, and 35-spline axles.

On the inside Schwartz Performance installed a pair of modern Challenger seats covered in black leather and suede. Between them are a custom console with the factory 8HP90 shifter and cup holders. Behind the steering wheel is a Holley 12.3-inch digital dash flanked by a push-button start and controls for the Vintage Air AC system. You can view more photos of the project in the build album.
