Kyle Mohan and his refreshed Mazda MX-5 (NC) visited the dyno to test for HPAF Drift Series (Hotpit Autofest). The car is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L 20B three-rotor built by Kyle Mohan Racing. It features a Mazdaspeed Racing dry sump, 1/2-inch studs, and stainless steel exhaust headers. Kyle recently removed the anti-lag system for a Fogger nitrous system to spool the new Precision turbocharger during certain events. On the dyno the 20B three-rotor made 700 hp without nitrous. The drivetrain uses a HGT sequential transmission with a 3-disc clutch and Winters quick-change rear end. The car rides on a Wisefab RX-8 suspension with adjustable coilovers.
