Nissan Patrol with a BMW Diesel Inline-Six
IOD Performance built this Nissan Patrol (Y61) at their company in Poland. Under the hood they swapped a BMW M57 inline-six featuring a top-mounted turbocharger, custom stainless steel exhaust, and top-mounted intercooler. The motor produced 273 hp and 626 Nm (461 lb-ft) of torque tuned by Boost Factory. Behind that is a PMC Motorsport adapter connected to a ZF 8HP eight-speed automatic transmission controlled by a Turbo Lamik TCU. From there power is sent through the factory transfer case to rebuilt axles. The SUV rides on IOD Performance’s suspension and stops from a rebuilt braking system with DBA 4000 Series T3 rotors. On the outside IOD Performance installed a bigger hood scoop, roof rack, Expedition grill, and 35-inch tires.
IOD Performance did not share a photo of the engine bay in this Patrol. The photo below is of another M57-powered Patrol built by IOD Performance.
