HST Turbotuning built their Audi TT (8S) to drag race. The car has come a long way and is now a custom tubular chassis pro build capable of high-6’s in the quarter-mile. At the heart of the vehicle is a turbocharged VR6 featuring a custom billet block, billet crankshaft, custom camshaft, dry sump system, six 720 lb injectors, large Precision Pro Mod 88 XPR turbocharger, and Fueltech FT600 ECU. Behind the motor is a Liberty five-speed transmission, Nissan GTR transfer case, and 9-inch rear end. The combo recently made 2041 hp (1522 kW) to the hubs (Fueltech USA’s Mainline dyno) on 4.2 bar (60.9 psi) of boost. HST Turbotuning sells their billet VR6 24v Gen2 block for €13,990 (about $15,091).
