This 1995 Toyota MR2 (SW20) rolled into BYP Racing in Wetherill Park, NSW, Australia for a powertrain swap. In the back of the car they installed a turbocharged Honda K20A inline-four featuring forged rods, PracWorks carbon fiber intake manifolds, and billet 70 mm throttle body. Bolted to the side is a custom exhaust manifold leading to a PTE 6266 ball bearing turbocharger. The motor is fed E85 fuel through Bosch 1650 cc injectors controlled by a Hondata Kpro V4 ECU. BYP Racing tuned the motor into making 715 hp at 9,000 rpm on 28 psi of boost. That power is sent to the rear wheels through a OS Giken twin-disc clutch to a Honda five-speed manual transmission with a helical 1.5 way limited-slip differential.
