1968 Bronco with a Supercharged Coyote V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Maxlider Brothers Customs spent 5,000 hours building a four-door custom 1968 Bronco called “The Clydesdale” at their company in Bloomington, Illinois. The SUV is powered by a 5.0 L Coyote V8 with a Roush supercharger on top. Behind that is a Bowler 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission controlled by a US Shift Quick 6 TCU and Atlas transfer case. Power is split between a Currie Dana 40 front axle and Dana 60 rear axles. Everything is supported by a Black Beard chassis featuring a 4-link front suspension and 3-link rear suspension. On the end of the axles is Wilwood Superlite disc brakes and Fuel wheels with BFGoodrich 37-inch tires. The SUV can transport eight people thanks to two bucket seats and two bench seats covered in leather by Twin City Upholstery. The rest of the interior features Classic Industries gauges in a custom dash surrounded by a roll cage. The vehicle sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2023 for $434,500.
