Sam Schlappi built his 1996 Ford Ranger to drag race. The 3,400 lb truck is powered by a turbocharged 410 ci (6.7 L) Windsor V8 that features a S480 turbocharger, C&S blow-thru carburetor, E85 fuel, and 10 psi of boost. Power goes to the 275 drag radials through a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and 8.8-inch rear end with 3.08 gears.
