This is James Mackie’s 1971 Ford XY Falcon drift machine called XYYNOT. Under the hood sits a 5.7 L LS1 with an upgraded VCM3 camshaft and a baffled oil sump which helps produce 360 horsepower to the rear wheels. Behind the engine sits a T-56 six-speed controlled by a Ripshift shifter and shortened Borg Warner rear end. This is enough to make a respectable 12.2 sec quarter-mile at 113 mph. Watch and listen as James takes it around the track.
