1988 Toyota Land Cruiser with a LS3 V8 and 80-Series Chassis

1988 Toyota Land Cruiser with a LS3 V8

Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers built this 1988 Toyota Land Cruiser (FJ62) on a modified FZJ80 chassis. Up front they swapped a 6.2 L LS3 V8 capable of 430 hp (316 kW) and 425 lb-ft (576 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission and Toyota transfer case. Power is split between the 80-series high-pinion front axle and full-floating rear axle. On the end of the axles are disc brakes and Nomad 17-inch wheels with Toyo 34×10.5-inch tires. The custom interior features leather and cloth seats, custom center console, and Dakota Digital gauges.
