BMW E82 with a 800 hp 2JZ

BMW E82 with a turbo 2JZ inline-six

Damian Witek and the Drift Marian Motorsport BMW 1 Series (E82) compete in the DMP Polish Drifting Championship. The coupe no longer powered by a German motor. Instead there is a turbocharged 3.0 L Toyota 2JZ inline-six under the hood. The motor features Manley forged rods, Titan billet main caps, Kelford 264/264 camshafts, and a Garrett G35-900 turbocharger. KMS Engine tuned the motor on a MaxxECU for E85 fuel with three boost levels. In the lowest setting it produced 667 hp (490 kW) and 757 Nm (558 lb-ft) of torque on 1.2 bar (17.4 psi). It made 728 hp (535 kW) and 841 Nm (620 lb-ft) of torque on 1.5 bar (21.7 psi). The highest setting it made 807 hp (593 kW) and 934 Nm (688 lb-ft) of torque on 1.8 bar (26.1 psi).
