BMW E92 with a 2JZ-GTE

BMW E92 with a turbo 2JZ-GTE inline-six

This BMW E92 arrived at Race Works PL in Limanowa, Poland for exhaust work and dyno tuning. The German coupe is powered by a turbocharged 3.0 L 2JZ-GTE VVTi inline-six with a custom exhaust, 600×300 mm intercooler, M3 aluminum radiator, and dual oil coolers. Race Works tuned the motor on a Ecumaster ECU with two boost levels. The lower setting makes 438 hp (322 kW) and 518 Nm (382 lb-ft) of torque while the higher setting makes 655 hp (481 kW) and 744 Nm (548 lb-ft) of torque. The motor is paired to an 8HP70 automatic transmission. The transmission has eight shift modes and a transbrake thanks to a Turbo Lamik TCU.
