1971 Chevy K10 with a 1,000 hp 10.3 L V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

JSP Customs built this 1971 Chevrolet K10 Cheyenne Super with a 632 ci (10.3L) ZZ632 V8 capable of 1004 hp (738 kW) and 876 lb-ft (1187 Nm) of torque. The motor features a forged steel crank, forged steel H-beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, and custom stainless steel exhaust. Behind the monster motor is a Hughes 4L80E four-speed automatic transmission. Then a billet Atlas transfer case sends torque through Tom Wood’s driveshafts to Currie Dana 44 front axle and Currie Dana 60 rear axle. The truck sits on a Roadster Shop RS4 chassis with 4-link suspension, Fox Factory Series coilovers and Baer disc brakes. The interior uses leather-covered seats, suede headliner, Billet Specialties steering wheel, Dakota Digital gauges, and Vintage Air AC Gen 5 system. The truck will be auctioned at Barrett-Jackson on January 17–25, 2026.
