Porsche 911 with a Turbo Honda K24

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Max B sent a 1982 Porsche 911 shell to KMP Speed Shop in St-Hubert, Quebec, Canada for Honda power. The company fabricated custom mounts to swap a 2.4 L K24 inline-four. Then they added a Garrett G30-660 turbocharger, water/methanol injection system, Turbosmart 38 mm wastegate, and custom exhaust manifold. KMP Speed Shop also built a custom engine and body wiring harness to interface with a Ecumaster EMU Pro ECU and PMU. The motor made 428 hp (314 kW) and 338 lb-ft (458 Nm) of torque on 94 octane fuel and methanol. KMP Speed Shop also made a custom roll cage, reinforced the frame, and custom adapter for the six-speed manual transaxle. After their work was completed, the car went for bodywork, paint, and finally a RWB widebody.
