1993 Mustang with a Supercharged Coyote V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This wild 1993 Mustang crossed Mecum auctions in 2023. The red Pony car is powered by a supercharged 5.0 L Coyote V8 making 880 hp (647 kW) and 786 lb-ft (1065 Nm) of torque on E85 fuel. The motor features forged rods and pistons, ported heads, stainless steel valves, 3.0 L Whipper supercharger, and Ultimate stainless steel exhaust headers. The Coyote is paired to a 6R80 six-speed automatic transmission, PST carbon fiber driveshaft, and TRZ 9-inch rear end. Inside that is a Strange S-Trac differential with a 3.50 ratio and 35-spline axles. The Mustang’s front suspension uses AJE K-member and lower control arms, QA1 adjustable coilovers, Cobra steering rack, and Baer six-piston brakes. The rear suspension benefits from a Team Z Motorsports torque box, TRZ control arms, and AFCO remote reservoir coilovers. The Mustang rides on RC Component wheels (17×4, 15×11) with MT Sportsman 26X6R17LT tires in front and MT ET Street S/S 275/60 drag radial tires in rear.
