Bill Canales - Backpiece Tattoo Montage

I had been wanting to do a short film about tattooing and tattoo culture for a some time, so when my good friend and tattoo artist, Bill Canales, told me he was getting ready to do a complete backpiece, I knew that I had to film it from start to finish. It would be the perfect opportunity to put together a short form documentary. This is not the finished piece, this is just a montage I put together so I could share some of the footage I had obtained during the several month process of completing this award-winning backpiece. Originally meant to only be seen by the people directly involved with the project, we've decided to share it with everyone.
