I've wrapped up the tube work from the last episode, and made some nice dimple-died gusset plates to dress things up. I'm happy with the direction the chassis work and fabrication is headed, and I think some more sheet metal/tin work will go a long way in the back end. I've covered lots of tools in this episode: dimple dies, a tube notcher, and automatic center punches. We also talk weights, too: the chassis comes in at just 1,185 pounds as it sits, giving us about 900lbs to play with before we meet pass our 2500lb final goal weight. I'm hoping perhaps 2300 is possible at this point! The Honda K24 will go back in this week, too, for the next bout of fabrication.
