Bisimoto’s Electric 1974 Rolls-Royce

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Bisi Ezerioha from Bisimoto Engineering visited Jay Leno’s Garage in 2022 with an electric Porsche 935 K3V. During that visit Jay told Bisi “You should build an electric Rolls-Royce.” Fast forward several years, and Bisi unveiled his “SilvEV Ghost” project. It started with a 1974 Rolls-Royce Silver Shadow which is now powered by a 400v liquid-cooled AC motor producing 600 hp (441 kW) managed by an AEM VCU275 controller. The electric motor runs on a 70 kph LG Chem lithium-ion battery pack split between two locations. Bisi included a CCS charging port which allows for slow/medium AC connectors or fast charging DC connectors. SOS Customs took over the interior with custom leather and Alcantara upholstery. Behind the custom wooden steering wheel are Speedhut EV gauges.
