1989 Mustang with a 2.3 L EcoBoost

Innovation Performance Technologies built this 1989 Foxbody Mustang called “ShockR” with a powertrain from a 2019 Mustang. Under the hood sits a turbocharged 2.3 L EcoBoost inline-four producing 310 hp (228 kW) and 350 lb-ft (474 Nm) of torque. The motor is paired to a 10R80 10-speed automatic transmission which sends power to a 8.8-inch independent rear end. The Mustang rides on a Maximum Motorsports suspension with stoppering providing by Alcon six-piston brakes. Convering those are Forgeline SS1R forged wheels (18×9, 19×11) wearing Continental Extreme Contact Sport tires (275/35, 325/30).
