Bailey Woods and his B48-Powered BMW E36 M3 Races Ridge Motorsports

Bailey Woods and his BMW E36 M3 visited Ridge Motorsports Park for the Global Time Attack’s Speed Summit event. While there Bailey was the fastest overall with a lap of 1:35.812. Bailey’s amazing E36 is built by Riley Stair at RS Motorsports with a composite clamshell front and extreme aero. It is powered by a turbocharged 2.0 L B48 inline-four swapped by Strom Motorsports. The motor produces 550 hp (404 kW) to the wheels thanks to a Garrett G25-700 turbocharger and E70 fuel. The drivetrain uses a GS6-37D manual transmission from an Euro E46 diesel and E36 rear end with a RacingDiffs limited-slip differential and 3.73 ratio. The lightweight coupe (2300 lb) rides on Motion Control 3-way adjustable coilovers and Apex VS-5RS 18×11-inch wheels with Hoosier Track Attack Pro 315/30 tires.
