Buni.Racing built their 2015 Mazda MX-5 (ND) convertible for the track. The factory Mazda power plant is swapped for a supercharged Honda K20 inline-four making 430 hp (316 kW). The motor features forged rods and pistons, Drag Cartel camshafts, Rotrex C30-91 supercharger, and Syvecs S7+ ECU. The drivetrain backing the supercharged motor starts with a DCT seven-speed automatic transmission and ends with a Mazda RX-7 (FD3C) limited-slip differential with 4.10 ratio. Upgrades to the suspension involve Hardrace control arms, Öhlins Cup coilovers, and Brembo big brake kit. Under the arches are Konig wheels (17×9, 17×10) wearing Nankang CRS tires (235/40, 255/40).
