1985 Chevy Blazer with a 650 hp LT4 V8
Roadster Shop built this 1985 Chevrolet K5 Blazer with modern underpinnings. Power is generated by a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 V8 featuring forged steel crank and rods, 6-bolt nodular iron main caps, forged aluminum pistons, and rotocast aluminum heads, and 1.7 L Eaton R1740 TVS supercharger. The combo is good for 650 hp (478 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a 10L90 10-speed automatic transmission, aluminum driveshaft, and 12-bolt rear end with a limited-slip differential. Roadster Shop swapped the factory chassis for their Legend Series chassis featuring an independent front suspension with Fox adjustable coilovers and Deaver’s custom leaf springs and Fox shocks in rear. The Blazer runs disc brakes on each corner covers by Roadster Shop’s Legend Series 17-inch wheels wearing 305/70 tires.
