Mazda RX-3 with a 700 hp Turbo 13B
PAC Performance built this Mazda RX-3 over 14 years ago. The goal was to make a street car capable of a 7.91 sec at 175 mph in the quarter-mile.
Inside the engine bay is a turbocharged 1.3 L 13B two-rotor built by PAC Performance. It features billet plates, Garrett G-series turbocharger, Turbosmart 50mm ProGate wastegate, M&W CDI ignition coils, billet oil cooler, and PAC Performance billet intake manifold with a 87 mm DBW throttle body.
The Billet by PAC motor producing 700+ hp (514+ kW) to the wheels. The motor is paid to a drivetrain featuring a C4 three-speed automatic transmission and narrowed 9-inch rear end.
The rear suspension now features Caltracs on the leaf-springs. Braking is handled by Wilwood four-piston brakes in front and back. Those are covered by a RC Components Retro 15×6-inch wheels in front and Torx beadlock 15×8-inch wheels in back.
The custom blue paint was applied by Queen Street Group. The exterior is accented by a Savanna front and taillights.
G-Trim completed the custom leather interior. Inside the cabin are Recaro Sportster CS seats and custom molded rear seats. Behind the Momo steering wheel are paddles shifters and Motec C127 digital dash.
