Ferrari 412P Tribute with a 4.9 L Flat-12

Published in engineswapdepot.com

We discovered this 1967 Ferrari 412P Tribute for sale at Team CJ while searching for interesting projects. The car was built by Bob Norwood starting with a 1974 Ferrari 365 GT4/BB. Bob shortened the 365 BB chassis to match the 412P’s wheelbase of 94.5 inches. He also widened the chassis to accommodate for a 4.9 L flat-12 motor from a Ferrari 512 BB. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a 512 BB transaxle. Bob fabricated the fiberglass body using original P/3 body panels from David Piper as bucks. Inside the fiberglass fenders are Campagnolo wheels (15×10, 15×13) wearing Michelin TB5R tires. The listing states the car weights 1,588 lb (720 kg).
