1973 Road Runner with a Twin-Turbo Hemi V8
Wild Wes Paintworks & Hot Rod Factory built this 1973 Plymouth Road Runner with a twin-turbo 394 ci (6.4L) Hemi V8. The motor uses forged internals, ported heads, and Nelson Racing 72 mm turbochargers. A Rossler 4L80 four-speed automatic transmission sends power to a fabricated 9-inch rear end with a Moser Truetrac limited-slip differential and 3.89 ratio. Wild Wes Paintworks upgraded the car’s handling using a Magnum Force tubular K-member and control arms, adjustable coilovers, and 4-link rear suspension. On the exterior they shaved door handles, vents, marker lights and flush mounted the glass. Wild Wes Adkins covered the body in custom paint and graphics. The finishing touch was narrowed and tucked bumpers, custom grill, and Harley-Davidson headlights.
