1977 Porsche 911 with a 3.8L 964 Flat-Six
This 1977 Porsche 911 is powered by a Porsche 964 flat-six and five-speed manual transaxle. The air-cooled motor features Mahle 3.8 liter piston and cylinders, Pauter connecting rods, and GT3R engine oil pump. The heads use Elgin Industries 306/288 custom-ground camshafts, RS intake and exhaust valves, Elgin Industries valve springs, and titanium retainers. Handling was upgraded with ERP 935 front suspension kit, FOX Racing front and rear shocks, aluminum rear control arms, and ARB sway bar. The car stops thanks to Brembo brakes on each corner cooled by ducts and adjusted by a Tilton bias switch. On the inside you find a Sparco Pro 2000 driver seat with Schroth Racing harness. In front of that is a Sparco steering wheel and ProComp Ultra-Lite gauges in a carbon fiber dashboard. An eight-point roll cage and fire suppression system protect the driver. The car sold on Cars&Bids for $128,500.
