Jimmy Rauck’s 1999 Civic with a Turbo K20

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Jimmy Rauck and his 1999 Honda Civic are breaking FWD lap records everywhere they go. Aaron Byram at PURE Tuning built the car with a turbocharged Honda K20 inline-four and Quaife sequential transmission. The motor features a sleeved block, forged pistons and rods, PURE Tuning ported head, and large Garrett G30-770 turbocharger. It produces 500-600 hp (367-441 kW) to the wheels tuned by Aaron on a Link FuryX ECU with boost by gear. The Civic rides on Öhlins coilovers, StopTech front brakes, and Konig HELIOGRAMS wheels. The performance is benefited by the Civic weighing slightly more than 2100 lb (952 kg) without driver. Watch Jimmy set lap records in the videos below.
