This 1979 Toyota FJ40 visited Proffitt’s Resurrection Land Cruisers (PRLC) for their Stage 3 restoration. Under the hood they swapped a 6.2 L LS3 V8 making 430 hp (316 kW) and 425 lb-ft (576 Nm) of torque. A 6L80E six-speed automatic transmission sends that power through a split transfer case to FJ40 axles with ARB locking differentials. To improve off-road capablities PRLC extended the wheelbase and installed an Old Man Emu suspension lift with Bilstein 5125 shocks and their shackle reversal kit. On the body PRLC installed their front bumper with a Warn 8274 winch and their dual swing-out rear bumper. The interior received a PRLC roll cage, Vintage Air AC system, and modified Tuffy center console.
