Published in engineswapdepot.com

Garrett Dobbs built his 2005 Dodge Magnum called “Hurricane Maggie” to drag race. In the engine bay he swapped a twin-turbo 3.0 L HurriCrate Cat3 inline-six crate motor that produces 550 hp (404 kW) and 531 lb-ft (719 Nm) of torque. The motor features an aluminum block, forged steel crank and I-beam rods, forged aluminum pistons, and two Garrett turbochargers delivering 26 psi of boost. Behind the motor is a ZF 8HP70 eight-speed automatic transmission and 3.09 ratio rear end. Garrett attended Holley MoParty where the wagon went 9.812 sec at 135.69 mph.
