2000 Prowler with a Supercharged Hellcat V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Michels Auto Design built this 2000 Plymouth Prowler called “Sinister” at their company in Cambridge, Wisconsin. In the engine bay they previously housed a V6, Michels Auto Design swapped a supercharged 6.2 L Hellcat V8 crate motor. The motor’s 707 hp (519 kW) and 650 lb-ft (881 Nm) of torque is thanks to a cast iron block, forged steel crank, forged pistons, 356 aluminum heads, and 2.4 L supercharger. Michels Auto Design paired the Hellcat V8 to a T56 six-speed manual transmission and custom independent rear end and suspension by Kugel Komponents. The company reinforced the Prowler’s chassis and added 11 electric fans through the car to keep fluids cool. If you are wondering how much a Hellcat-powered Prowler would cost? Jalopnik reports Michels Auto Design says you will need approximately $200,000.
