Formonster Racing spent 10 months building their 2004 BMW E46. The sedan is now powered by a turbocharged 4.0 L Ford Barra (FG) inline-six capable of 816 hp (608 kW) to the wheels on a Haltech Elite 250 ECU and low boost. The motor features an Atomic Performance longblock, forged rods and pistons, block gridle, Pulsar PSR 7170G turbocharger, and Zoo Performance 150 mm Comp Series intercooler. Behind the motor is a Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission, custom 1-piece driveshaft, and RacingDiffs 188 mm Stage 4 rear differential. Watch the project be built in the timelapse video below or on @formonster_racing.
