BYP Racing’s Integra Type R with a Supercharged K24

Published in engineswapdepot.com

BYP Racing builds and races fast Honda cars. Take for example this Integra Type R (DC2) BYP Racing built with their K24 longblock rated for 600 hp. The motor uses forged internals and a Rotrex C38-91 supercharger. The combo produces 430 hp (320 kW) to the wheels on E85 fuel. Power is applied to the front wheels through a six-speed manual transmission built by BYP Racing with helical synchro gearset and OS Giken limited-slip differential. To improve handling BYP Racing installed a set of GAB SS-R 3-way adjustable coilovers, adjustable camber arms, and upgraded sway bars. The brakes are Brembo Pista six-piston calipers with 355×32 mm rotors in the front and factory Type R brakes in the rear. Watch BYP Racing’s Benny Tran race the Integra at the MRA Super TT Round 3 at One Raceway and Sydney300 at Sydney Motorsport Park.
