1000+ hp Twin-Engine Toyota Sera
Takuro Watanabe built a twin-engine Toyota Sera called “Twin Dragon” at his company Circuit & Dreams CLR in Japan. The car originally came with a naturally aspirated 1.5 L 5E-FHE inline-four but Takuro Watanabe swapped to a turbocharged SR20VET inline-four from a first-generation Nissan X-Trail. Speedhunters reports the motor features Pulsar VZ-R N1 camshafts, forged pistons and rods, and a Trust/GReddy TD07-25G turbocharger. The front motor produces 540-550 hp (397-404 kW) and is sent to the front wheels through a Honda six-speed manual transmission. In the back of the car Takuro Watanabe installed a turbocharged K20A in rear from a Honda Integra Type R. This motor features Wiseco forged pistons, K1 forged rods, Toda Racing cams, and a TD07-25G turbocharger. The rear motor produces 490-500 hp (360-367 kW) and is sent to the rear wheels through a Honda six-speed manual transmission.
