Electric GT converted this 1966 Mustang to electricity at their company in California. The “E-Stang” is powered by their GTe-353 electric crate motor. It produces 134 hp (98 kW) and 235 lb-ft (318 Nm) of torque. The engine bay also holds a 38 kWh battery pack providing the convertible 125 mile range. Electric GT’s GTe crate system allows for the Mustang to retain the manual transmission and 9-inch rear end. The electric conversion resulted in the car’s weight being 3543 lb (1607 kg).
