1979 Ford F-150 with a 7.3L Godzilla V8
Brenspeed built this 1979 Ford F-150 at their company in Pierceton, Indiana. In the engine bay is a 7.3 L Godzilla V8 crate motor capable of 505 hp (371 kW) and 553 lb-ft (749 Nm) of torque to the wheels. The motor features a TSP Stage 2 camshaft, Ford Performance intake manifold, Kong throttle body, and custom fuel system. Exhaust is routed through Stainless Works headers to Brenspeed’s custom exhaust pipes. The Godzilla is backed by a Magnum six-speed manual transmission. A custom aluminum driveshaft transmits the big-block torque to a Moser 9-inch rear end. The truck rides on a QA1 front and rear suspension featuring tubular control arms, adjustable coilovers, and Watts link. Brenspeed improved stopping power with Wilwood six-piston front brakes and four-piston rear brakes.
