Vidar Jødahl’s 2JZ-Powered BMW E30 Now Makes 1554 hp

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Vidar Jødahl owns and races a 2JZ-powered BMW E30 we’ve covered many times. Earlier this year Vidar attended Gatebil Extreme Race at Mantorp Park in Mantorp, Sweden. While competing the motor suffered a catastrophic failure and put a hole in the block. Vidar rebuilt the motor and made even more power. The 2JZ now produces 1554 hp (1142 kW) and 1761 Nm (1298 lb-ft) of torque on 3.962 bar (57.4 psi) of boost. The motor is backed by a Sellholm MPG sequential transmission and E34 M5 rear end. Enjoy Vidar driving his E30 to the limit on the track and at several hill climbs in the videos below.
