Twin-Engine Honda CR-X

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Randy Carlson from Carchaeology visited Jay Leno’s Garage with his unique 1984 Honda CR-X. It originally came with a 1.5 L inline-four and three-speed automatic transmission. Randy says Car and Driver tasked Racing Beat to swap another 1.5 L inline-four and three-speed automatic in the back of the car. Several months later Car and Driver swapped the powertrains again with 1.8 L inline-four motors and four-speed automatic transmissions. Listen to Randy explain the hatchback to Jay Leno before taking it for a drive.
