Published in engineswapdepot.com

BYP Racing used their experience in Honda performance and racing to upgrade this 1988 Honda CRX. In the engine bay they swapped a supercharged K20A inline-four capable of 235 kW (315 hp) on E85 fuel and 9 psi of boost. The motor sits on Hasport EFK2 mounts and features a Rotrex C30-94 supercharger, BYP Racing 8-rib pulley kit, Bosch 1000 cc injectors, and Hondata KPro ECU. The drivetrain uses a BYP Racing V3 close-ratio gearset, 3J Motorsport 1.5-way limited-slip differential, and 36 mm 4×100 hubs. The hatchback’s suspension features GAB SS-R 3-way adjustable coilovers, Innovative Pro Series traction bar, PCI Racing rear spherical control arms, Hardrace camber arms, and ASR rear brace with ITR sway bar. It stops thanks to Alcon four-piston calipers with 295×28 mm rotors in front. Covering those are 949 Racing 6UL wheels (15×9, 15×7) with Advan 050 tires (225/50, 205/50). The body features BYP Racing custom front splitter, PCI Racing 4-inch side skirts, BYP Racing rear diffuser, and PCI Racing rear wing.
