1973 Challenger with a Viper V10

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This 1973 Dodge Challenger came from the factory with a 340 ci Chrysler LA V8. It is now powered by a 8.3 L V10 from a 2006 Viper SRT-10. JZB Engines rebuilt the V10 with Trend Performance pushrods, Gen IV/V main bearings, ported heads, and Gen V cooling updates. The drivetrain uses a Viper T56 six-speed manual transmission and Raven Engineering 4-inch aluminum driveshaft sending power to a Moser 8.75-inch rear end with 4.10 ratio. The car’s handling is improved thanks to Reilly MotorSports AlterKtion tubular K-frame and Street-Lynx triangulated four-link rear suspension with Viking coilovers and subframe connectors. The factory brakes have given way to Wilwood four-piston calipers with drilled rotors. Those are covered by American Muscle FR500 wheels (18×9, 18×10) and Nitto NT555 Extreme ZR tires (275/35, 285/35). For more photos and details please view the Bring a Trailer listing.
