Far East Classics imported this first generation Chevy Colorado from Southeast Asia. Before it was imported a company in Southeast Asia swapped the factory motor for a turbocharged 2.5 L 1JZ-GTE inline-six. The engine features a single AR70 turbocharger, air-to-air intercooler, and 3-inch stainless steel exhaust. The factory transmission was also swapped for a Toyota R154 five-speed manual transmission. A two-piece driveshaft sends power to a limited-slip differential. The truck’s suspension was rebuilt with new springs, bushings, ball joints, and the front brakes with drilled/slotted rotors.
