BYP Racing’s Integra Type R with a 430 whp Supercharged K24
BYP Racing used their 17 years of experience creating this Honda Integra Type R (DC2) for racing at the track. In the engine bay BYP Racing installed their K24 longblock rated for 600 hp. It features forged internals and Rotrex C38-91 supercharger geared for 16 psi at 8700 rpm. The motor makes 430 hp (320 kW) to the wheels on E85 fuel. A six-speed manual transmission built by BYP Racing with helical synchro gearset and OS Geiken limited-slip differential sends power to the front wheels. The 1050 kg car rides on BYP Racing’s suspension kit featuring GAB SS-R 3-way adjustable coilovers, adjustable camber arms, and upgraded sway bars. Up front the brakes use Brembo Pista six-piston calipers with 355×32 mm rotors and the rear retain the factory Type R brakes. Covering those are 18×9.5-inch wheels with Kumho slick tires (245/645/18 soft) in front and 17×8.5-inch wheels and Kumho slick tires (240/610/17 medium) in rear.
