Tyler York created this 1995 BMW 325is (E36) to drift. He swapped the factory 2.5 L M50B25 inline-six for a 350 ci small-block Chevy V8. Tyler built the motor with a Comp solid roller camshaft, solid roller lifters, aluminum heads, and custom 3-inch exhaust. It sits on custom mounts and makes approximately 300 hp to the wheels. He also swapped the factory BMW manual transmission for a BorgWarner T5 five-speed manual transmission. A one-piece driveshaft transfers power to a welded BMW differential with a 3.91 ratio. Tyler also installed a set of aftermarket coilovers and reinforcement plates on the shock towers.
