1949 Ford F-1 with a Coyote V8

Published in engineswapdepot.com

This 1949 Ford F-1 arrived at Fat Fender Garage as a rolling raw metal shell. The company got to work rebuilding it with modern technology. Under the classic hood they swapped a 2nd-generation 5.0 L Coyote V8 making 435 hp (319 kW) and 400 lb-ft (542 Nm) of torque. Behind that is a MT-82 six-speed manual transmission and 9-inch rear end. Fat Fender Garage installed a custom chassis with power steering, electric master cylinder power brakes, and air suspension. They covered the body in Porsche silver paint and the trim in Cerakot. Fat Fender Garage also raised the bed and installed White Oak boards. The finishing touch is a set of Mag 17-inch wheels. On the inside they added power bucket seats, custom center console, and door panels covered in leather. They also installed Dakota Digital gauges, trailer braking control, and backup camera.
