1964 Corvette with a LS3 V8
J&M Enterprizes built this 1964 Corvette at their company in Brooksville, Florida. The car is powered by a 6.2 L LS3 V8 crate motor producing 495 hp (364 kW) and 473 lb-ft (641 lb-ft) of torque on 10.7:1 compression. The motor features Nodular iron crankshaft, Hypereutectic aluminum pistons, 219/228 camshaft, and L92-style port aluminum heads with 2.165 intake valves and 1.590 exhaust valves. A 4L70 four-speed automatic transmission transfers power to a Camaro SS independent rear end with a limited-slip differential. Everything sits on a Roadster Shop Spec 7 chassis featuring C7 Corvette fully independent suspension, aluminum control arms, and spindles. Braking is handled by Wilwood six-piston calipers with 15-inch rotors in front and four-piston calipers with 14-inch rotors in back. Covering those are Budnik wheels (19×10, 20×12) with Michelin Super Sport tires (285/30, 335/30). Al Knoch Interiors completed the custom Torch Red leather upholstery. The interior also features a Flaming River tilt column with a Billet Specialties steering wheel, Vintage Air AC system, and Dakota Digital gauges.
