Arjan Kolkman recorded this International Transtar (4070B) taking a celebratory drive after completing a major overhaul. The truck was powered by a naturally aspirated 12.1 L Detroit Diesel 8V-92 V8 producing 350 hp (260 kW) and 980 lb-ft (1328 Nm) of torque. Earlier this year the owner wanted more power so they swapped the V8 for a twin-turbo 14.0 L Detroit Diesel 12V-71 V12. A factory spec turbocharged 12V71 produced 525 hp (391 kW) and 1450 lb-ft (1966 Nm) of torque. Arjan states this V12 is now making 750 hp (559 kW) and backed by an Allison automatic transmission.
