1963 Corvette with a Supercharged LT4
Paul Atkins built this 1963 Corvette at his company in Alabama. Up front is a supercharged 6.2 L LT4 V8 creating 650 hp and 650 lb-ft of torque. The motor features a forged steel crankshaft, forged steel rods, forged aluminum pistons, hydraulic roller camshaft, dry sump, and custom exhaust. The motor transfers power through a Monster twin-disc clutch to a T56 six-speed manual transaxle. The powertrain is supported by a custom SRIII Motorsports chassis featuring C6 Corvette suspension and brakes and QA1 adjustable coilovers. The body is covered in Maserati Silver Grigio Nuvolari PPG paint accented by custom tucked bumpers and a set of Mike Curtis Design custom wheels. Inside Paul Atkins Interiors covered the custom seats in Lipstick Red leather. A Dashworks custom dash holds Dakota Digital HDX gauges, Vintage Air Gen 4 AC system, and Billet Specialies steering wheel on a tilt column. The Corvette sold at Barrett-Jackson in 2021 for $385,000.
