Published in engineswapdepot.com

Evan Smith from REVan Evan attended NMRA Ford Homecoming and interviewed Chris Zukowski about his 1968 Mustang. Chris explains the classic is now powered by a twin-turbo 7.3 L Godzilla V8 making an estimated 1,000 hp. The motor is built with Molnar rods, Wiseco pistons, Willis Performance Enterprises camshafts, BTR intake manifold, LSx ignition coils, two VS Racing 7875 turbochargers, and custom 3.5-inch stainless/aluminum exhaust. Backing the large V8 is a Coan Racing Turbo 400 automatic transmission and narrowed 9-inch rear end with a Strange center section and 35-spline axles. The car rides on a AJE crossmember with Foxbody-style control arms, and Foxbody spindles and struts. In the back is stock leaf springs with Funkhouser Race Cars traction bars. Listen to Chris explain the car to Evan in the video below.
