Twin-Turbo FFRE Coyote V8 Makes 1716 hp

Published in engineswapdepot.com

Javier Trias from That Racing Channel set out to build a powerful Ford F-150 “work” truck. The core of the performance is a FFRE Stage 3 Coyote long block. It features a Gen 3 prepped block, custom FFRE LA sleeves, Boss 302 forged crank, custom FFRE Manley pistons, Manley I-beam rods, factory camshafts, and ported heads. On to that they add a Basye turbocharger kit featuring two PTE 6466 NextGen turbochargers. Behind the motor is a 10R 10-speed automatic transmission built by RSA with a CircleD converter. The combo made 1,716 hp and 1,409 lb-ft of torque to the wheels on 35 psi of boost tuned by Lund Racing.
