BMW 135i with a Supercharged LSx V8 Makes 769 whp on the Dyno
Matt Happel from Sloppy Mechanics tuned a BMW 135i (E93) built and owned by Sean Meikle. The mean green convertible is now powered by a supercharged 6.0 L LSx V8 using LSE90 swap mounts. The motor features an L96 shortblock with a BTR Stage 2 camshaft. On top sits LSA heads and a Kong Performance Stage X ported LSA supercharger with a Nick Williams 102 mm throttle body. The fuel system uses Snake Eater Performance (SEP) Pro Series 850 cc injectors fed from a Radium surge tank with two 450 lph pumps and a factory tank and pump. Behind the V8 is a twin-disc clutch and T56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission sending power to a Ford Cobra 8.8-inch rear end. Watch as Matt tunes the V8 into making 769 hp and 630 lb-ft of torque to the wheels.
